Fab Finds At Greenhills

I havent been to Greenhills for the past 5 years or more. So my friend and I decided that today we would visit, and see what was new. The last I remember was being in that part where Unica Hija is, but today we definitely got lost trying to find it for a couple of hours. We enjoyed ourselves though. We checked out the tiangges and boy did my mouth water at the colorful LV patent bags... I actually wanted to buy a couple but at more than P6000+ a pop, they were way out of my budget. I did find a couple of stuff at Greenhills I wanted to show you guys.
Fuschia clutch, HDY, on sale at P250
How could I resist this clutch when its only for P250? Plus it looks elegant & classy pa. I know I will get to use it anyway... and its so freakin cheap! Compared to me buying a similar one like this in the future for thousands of pesos... Hear me, Charles & Keith? You're making me bankrupt! ;)
Native Silver Clutch, Kristine Bags & Fashion Accessories, P800
I have loads of gold and gold accented clutches, but I dont have silver ones. This is perfect, it will go with any silver motif I have for late night excursions. You know how native-materials-made stuff looks so cheap? Well, in their stall in greenhills, their native bags actually look so cool and sosyal! They also have this in other colors like gold, orange, brown, etc.
Umbra Finette Multi Photo Frame, Our Home, P2200
Now this, I know isnt a steal. I'm renovating my room when I get back to Cebu and Im trying to go for the modern look with mirror-accented cabinets, black accent motifs with a big splash of color for my headboard wall. I'll show you a scan of the look I'm trying to achieve in another post. (No scanner here!). Isnt the frame gorgeous? I havent seen anything like this in Cebu and it just fits so well with my motif!

Great Finds: Lush's Mask Of Magnaminty

For quite some time now I've been looking for a good, not too expensive (save me the P1000+ masks), clay facial mask that deep cleans and is good for oily skin. I had always remembered the Andrea Beauty Grape Clay Mask which sold for like P300 before at Beauty Bar which they dont now. As me and my friend were exiting Shang mall, we passed by Lush again, which we did everyday. I wasnt so tired from class so I decided to stop by and check outwhat they had there. The shopaholic in me has always wanted to buy just one product from that brand but I havent found one that I could use, that is, until I discovered this mask.

"Deep cleans breakout-prone skin with a luscious vanilla-mint scent.

Tired of harsh cleansers? Throw away your old scrubs and masks and get ready to reveal glowing skin with Mask of Magnamity. Slather on this gentle, exfoliating cleanser and mask and feel uplifted by its soothing vanilla-mint fragrance. Wash off and emerge refreshed and ready to tackle any project, or better yet, the world."

Forget the exfoliating part, I was sold when I read in the package that it deep cleaned! Price? Less than P400. One last thing was checking the consistency, and it definitely passed the physical test... it's consistency was like clay, and it's green, to boot. Perfect!

When I got back to the condo tonight, I tried it on right away, as I know my skin needed this so badly. Waited for it to dry and then rinsed it off. (Take note: Don't let the beads go down the sink as they may cause a clog since they're pretty big. Instead, rinse using a basin of water. When you're done, drain water then throw the beads in the trash can. :))

My skin right now feels clean... and soft! It didnt dry my skin which is pretty good. It also wasnt too hard rinsing it off my face, as compared to the almost the same product from Avon. The best part is just that it reallyfeels like my skin is clean... from the surface to deep down my epidermis. I feel like I truly found a wonder product tonight (which I blogged about right away ;)) and I know I will definitely buy this again... even if I have to have it shipped to Cebu!

See review from Lush's site:

*FYI: This product only has a short shelf life of a couple of months. The one I bought tonight actually expiresone month from now. I went back to ask for newer stock but the saleslady told me they were all the same everywhere. The ingredients are fresh and all organic, so no preservatives are added, which leads to the short shelf life.

Rakku Shoe Storage

When I transferred here to Manila, I decided I wouldnt buy a shoe rack, instead opting for those clear plastic shoe boxes they're selling over at Multiply. I think it is useless to do so when I will just be going back to Cebu by the end of this year and dont want the hassle of either leaving a beautiful shoe rack or shipping it back home. It was Casey who wanted to buy one and would ship it back to Cebu, after we saw a gorgeus dark wood shoe storage over at SM.

After seeing these shoe wheels by Rakku, it has made me want to buy one wheel for my shoes back home. They save you a lot of space and they actually can store 30 pairs of shoes!

In The Now: Liquid / Latex Leggings

My friend and I were window shopping in Zara last week when she excitedly exclaimed "Oh My Gosh! They have latex leggings!", which she promptly snapped up. Since I hadn't planned on purchasing anything (I'm pitying my parents the credit card bill they're gonna get for April & May :3) I went with her to the fitting rooms just to see how it would look. Leggings have always been her thing and not mine. But when she started trying them on, my mind couldnt help thinking how great it would look on my legs haha (My only best asset ;)). Finally when she decided it was too tight on her (what with being on the heavy side) and because Zara only had it in one size, I snatched it away from her and finally tried them on myself. Voila, they looked absolutely great and sexy! And I wanted them totally for myself haha but since I was in no position to purchase them....

We struck a deal. The leggings as my birthday gift!

Not many people know this but every year, my friend Casey & I choose our own birthday gifts when its our birthday. This is so we wont get stuck getting what we dont want (which is an impossibility since we know each other inside and out) and most importantly, we get what we most want on our birthdays. Last year I got a Kate Torralba dress, and she got her most desired Charriol bangle (the cost of which I split with her boyfriend).

So anyway, I dont know if you guys have noticed, but a lot of stars have been wearing this kind of leggings lately.

Where To Buy: Zara (P1350) ; Topshop

Im Back.... And I Moved...!

Im finally back from a two week hiatus woohoo! Back on the internet, that is. As every day went by I felt like I was dying little by little inside because of no internet. Leave me without television but please, dont ever leave me without internet!

The reason for all this is that... I moved! I quit my job, and up and left Cebu. And then I enrolled at a fashion institute. There's nothing like making your dreams come true. ;)

I'll be back in around 6 months. For the meantime, I'd like to introduce you all to my new abode in the metropolis. We were lucky we got this unit since there were a lot of people inquiring about it. Its fully furnished, interior-decorated, and the realtor gave us a discount, after much begging on my part hehe.

This is what greets you when you open the door:

This definitely brightens up my day.

The hanging decorations in the dining area certainly gives it a nice touch.

The painting is actually just a thin cloth.

The chair rounds off the living room area.

The kitchen. We didnt even have to buy any appliances.

A bamboo art piece by the stairs.

The doors to our rooms. Yep, 1 for each of us. Our full length mirror is there too. No girl can live without one.

The master's bedroom, which is Casey's room. I dont know how she got it. She must have drugged me. Hehe.

Her study area. With a closed closet. You should see my closet. She bought that study table, which she says she'll be bringing back to Cebu.

Her bathroom. Modest size.

My room now. A day bed. I have drawers on the bottom, as well as an extra bed down there for guests.

The other side of my room. Dont see a closet around? Thats it right there. A garment rack haha. How about a bathroom? Its downstairs, before the kitchen.

How did I end up with the short end of the stick?

All I have to say is, TV's gonna be moved downstairs! :D
